One of the main concerns we hear when people reach out is that they are super awkward and they are scared it will show up in the photos. I can promise you that will be the last thing you will need to worry about when working with us!
We use fun prompts and poses to get you moving and to create true movement and emotions. We use story telling to help guide our session. Our main goal is to truly capture you and your love story. Whether that means going to your university where you two meet and going to all your favorite spots, or to have a picnic on a rooftop with pizza and beer. We truly want to capture you. We suggest that you treat this like a super special date night and less of a photoshoot.
We can help explore ideas, create mood boards or help plan outfits to make this day perfect for you!
One thing you can expect is to be laughing the entire time. you can expect to get dirty. You can expect that you will leave this photoshoot even more connected and in love with your partner. It's less about creating the perfect photographs and more about capturing the perfect memories.

We are Mia & Chris Courtney. The people behind the camera. We are a husband and wife team based out of Indianapolis, Indiana,
We are are about inclusivity and welcoming everyone from every background. Love is love and we want to celebrate you exactly how you are and not what anyone tells you to be.
Mia has been in the industry for 10+ years and is now going in to her 5th year of being a full time wedding photographer. Chris photographed his first wedding with Mia in 2018 and has been her second shooter ever since. He became a full time photographer alongside Mia in 2022. This is now all we do and we can give all our time to our amazing couples and their big days! We also added our mascot to our crew in fall of 2023!
